Another sad goodbye

Ryan's parents headed west yesterday after serving a 1 1/2-year Mormon mission at the Washington D.C. Temple Visitor's Center. It has been so wonderful to have them here during Ethan's first year of life. We loved seeing them so often and will miss them so much!

awe... that made me tear up. I guess just knowing how emotional it would be for everyone! Leaving a mission, a place you love, people you have worked with, kids and grandkids... and then also thinking how you and Ryan must feel. What an amazing experience for all of you!

Those pictures are wonderful and that sunset is amazing!

I can't believe it's already been that long since they left Cache Valley! Tell Ethan not to be sad and that Uncle Kippy and Aunt Ashlee will come play with him.

That made me cry. I am so sad that they won't be there by you guys. I'm excited for them to come home but it is just so sad. They love you guys and you and Rob make them so happy.
Maybe one day we can all live within driving distance. The pictures are amazing.

I'm sorry you had to say good-bye again! That's the worse thing. That's awesome that you were so close for that time.:)

That picture of Uncle Ken and your little boy is so precious--that's definitely a keeper and one that he'll treasure someday!
I'm sorry for you guys that they're coming back, but I am looking forward to seeing them again myself!
