It has taken nearly an entire 13-by-9-inch pan of brownies to make me feel slightly better about the fact that my mom left for home in Utah this afternoon after visiting us for the weekend.
Chocolate helps, but I still miss my mom. We had such a great time with her.

I always miss my mom! Okay not always, but I remember when I moved out I used to say that I missed her all the time...hello, she lives five minutes away! I'm sorry!

Meg I know just how you feel! It's so fun to have family come visit, but it sure is hard to see them leave!
Aw, I'm sorry. I really can't imagine not living 5 minutes away from my mom- I think I would die! You are such a trooper! I know how lucky I am though. Oneday you'll be back here again... I'm banking on it. I mean, I know VA is for lovers but lets be honest- hasn't that part worn off by now? ha ha- just kidding. Love ya
Oh man it's hard isn't it. I'm dreading that part. We move on Monday. I can't believe it's here so fast. It will be nice to get there and get settled though. Right now I feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off.
I'm glad she got to visit, but how hard to let her go again. I swear we should all by 20 acre lots and move all our family members on them. I NEED FAMILY! Try hot chocolate and grasshopper cookies. Maybe they could help a little too.

oh meg you are so cute! It's funny how much we start to miss our moms! remember then teen years when you couldn't wait to get away from your family, and now it has come full circle you want to have them around as much as possible!
